Replace AI Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("AI Privacy Policy") governs the collection, use, and handling of information by the Replace AI application ("the Application"). This AI Privacy Policy is supplemental to and should be read in conjunction with BrandBeat's general Privacy Policy ("General Privacy Policy"). In the event of any conflict between this AI Privacy Policy and the General Privacy Policy, this AI Privacy Policy shall prevail with respect to the Application-specific matters described herein.

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

2. AI-Specific Data Collection

The Application collects and processes the following categories of data:

• Text content from selected text boxes in Canva designs
• User-generated AI prompts and text replacement preferences
• Usage telemetry data relating to AI-generated content interactions
• Ephemeral processing data necessary for AI operations

All AI processing is conducted in real-time. Ephemeral processing data is automatically and irreversibly deleted upon completion of the associated AI operation.

3. Data Processing and Usage

The Application processes collected data for the following specified purposes:

• Generation of alternative text content through AI processing
• Continuous improvement of AI model accuracy and response relevance through anonymized pattern analysis
• System performance optimization and response time enhancement
• Technical debugging and AI system improvement

The Application explicitly refrains from utilizing user-generated text content for AI model training purposes unless separate, explicit, and revocable authorization is obtained from the user.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

The Application adheres to the following data retention protocols:

• Ephemeral processing data: Deleted immediately upon completion of AI processing
• Generated content: Retained only within the user's Canva design
• AI configuration preferences: Retained for the duration of active account status
• Usage patterns: Anonymized after 30 days and aggregated for analytical purposes

5. AI Processing Disclosure

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING AI PROCESSING:

• The Application's AI processing capabilities are provided strictly on an "AS IS" basis
• Users bear sole responsibility for validating AI-generated text outputs
• No warranties or guarantees are provided regarding AI processing outcomes
• Processing duration may vary based on computational complexity and system load

6. User Rights and Control

In addition to rights granted under the General Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore data protection laws, users maintain the following specific rights:

• The right to request immediate deletion of AI generation history, subject to technical limitations
• The right to opt out of anonymized data collection for AI improvement purposes
• The right to export all user-generated and AI-generated text data in a machine-readable format
• The right to modify AI generation parameters and preferences
• Rights provided under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore

Exercise of these rights may impact Application functionality and available features.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy and all matters relating to your privacy and data protection are governed by the laws of Singapore, including but not limited to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Any dispute arising from or relating to this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
